sun
candle
light bulb
moon
Have your child point to and name each photo. Ask:
- What do these things have in common?
- How are they alike?
- What do these things provide?
Say: The sun, the fire from the candle, the light bulb and the moon all give us light. We call them sources of light. They help us see when it is dark. Note: The moon does not create its own light. It reflects light from the sun.
