A lamb is a baby sheep. It is born with a soft, short fur coat. As it grows, its coat of wool grows too. Every spring, the soft wool is cut (sheared). The wool that is cut off is made into yarn and thread and woven into fabric. Ask: What would it feel like to touch a lamb’s fur coat?
